Our Club takes our train layouts (they’re never the same) to many venues around the state of Maine. Below is a list of club events open to the public.
Club meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7PM via Zoom.
On most other Thursday’s of the month, again at 7PM, the Club hosts an informal on-line Zoom conversation titled“The M3R Roundhouse.” These are lively conversations regarding anything to do with the model railroading hobby and are open to all.
Many of our members hold open houses of their layout’s each year that are a great way for everyone to visit and talk about trains.
Finally, our big event each year is the M3R Show at the Augusta Armory in February. It has running trains and many vendor tables with trains for sale. Don’t miss it. Contact show chair Richard Ridolfo to reserve tables and for more information.

Public Events Where We Will be Running Trains
Come and see our layout at this fun show. Many vendors, trains running, food, and fun for all. M3R has been taking part for many years, so don’t miss our newest layout.
We will be running trains at this event from 9-6 on Friday, May 3 and 9-1 on Saturday, May 4. Don’t miss it as you pick up some interesting books.
Once again we will be running trains at the library in Cape Elizabeth. Be sure to stop by on this spring day.
We will be running trains again at this great Maine event, as we have for several years. Look for our Moxie box car.
